My house is located adjacent to Freedom Park just off Highland Avenue and is a short 5 minute walk to the Center.  It is a modernized turn-of-the-century bungalow.  The space for rent is on the second floor with private fully tiled bath and walk in shower.  There is a walk-in cedar lined closet with plenty of drawer space. Bathroom also has lots of drawer space. Furnishings include a queen bed, desk, TV, lamps, a couple of chairs, couch and carpet. The rent is $700/month and includes all utilities, cable TV, wireless internet, all bath & bed linens, and use of laundry room and modern kitchen.  There is off-street parking for 4 cars and a spacious deck in back in case the intern wants to cook out/entertain. Room for rent in house located at 524 Seminole Ave NE , Atlanta 30307.  It is a lovely historic home in Inman Park. The main house has 4 bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a sunroom, huge living room with fireplace, library / office, formal dining room, breakfast room, and a large modern kitchen with lots of cabinet space. In addition, there is an 8-person hot tub, large deck with patio furniture, fenced yard, and hardwood floors throughout. There is also a separate apartment home on the lower level that has its own entrance.  It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, dining room / office area, and kitchen.  Both the main house and the apartment have their own washing machine and dryer and are fully furnished. The available bedrooms can be furnished or unfurnished. It is an excellent opportunity for someone to live very nicely with fantastic housemates and develop new friendships. We pay $15/month each for cable+wireless internet and very little for power (last summer it was about $15-20 a month each I think). Located in the Inman Park/Little 5 Points neighborhood. Very charming building, hardwood floors, clawfoot tub. Walking distance from Virginia Highland, Little 5 Points, Inman Park, the Carter Center and the Inman Park Marta Stop. I am friendly, laid-back, college educated. I work in the restaurant business (so I work at night 5 nights a week, which is great for someone with a 9-5) and manage the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market on Thursday evenings and work at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. I am literally gone on Saturdays from 6am until 1am (yawn). I have a boyfriend who spends the night here a few nights a week. He is darling and respectful. I work from home in the morning usually. Former Carter Center intern going to grad school at Emory would like to offer her two bedroom townhouse up for cheap rent for the summer. The house is located about five miles from TCC on the corner of Claremont and N. Druid Hills. Current tenants will be away from mid May until the end of August. We will both be away doing fieldwork this summer (7 May-4 August), and are looking for someone (or a few people) to sublet the house. Rooms for rent near Downtown Decatur:  My son his family are moving to Texas later this month.  I am going to stay in the house until we sell it, I am looking for a couple of renters.  I am looking for two tenants at $600 each.  I am less than 2 miles from Downtown Decatur, walking distance to the Avondale Train Station (15 minutes to downtown ATL) and just blocks from Agnes Scott College , perfect for a grad student.  One person would have the master bedroom with bathroom, and the other could have the other two downstairs bedrooms and would share the hall bath with me.
