Wedding FAQs
How far in advance should I book your facility? Facilities should be booked between six months to one year before your event. Keep in mind that spring and fall dates book quickly and are also very busy seasons for conventions, trade-shows, and expos in Atlanta.
Which spaces are available for weddings? Wedding ceremonies are held in the Cecil B. Day Chapel. Smaller weddings may be held in the Rotunda or Cyprus Room.
How long will the room be available to us? All events must conclude by midnight.
What is included in the fee for the room? Room fee includes an events staff person on-site during your event, security, Carter Center volunteers to meet and greet guests, and setup and breakdown of all table and chairs. If additional vendor services are needed, (i.e., dance floor, linens, photographers, tenting, florists, etc.) we are happy to provide referrals.
Are other events occurring during my wedding/reception? The Carter Center books one wedding per weekend only.
Is your facility handicap accessible? The Carter Center is a fully handicap accessible facility.
Are outside caterers permitted at your facility? Proof of the Pudding is the official caterer for The Carter Center.
Is there adequate parking? The Carter Center can accommodate parking spaces for approximately 400 guests.
