2011 Carter Center Awards for Guinea Worm Eradication

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and dignitaries from around the world celebrate Nigeria and Niger as the most recent countries to mark a full year with no indigenous cases of Guinea worm disease. The awards ceremony was held at The Carter Center in Atlanta, Ga. on Feb. 17, 2011.
