Palestine Discussion With Jimmy Carter and Munib YounanThe Carter Center hosted a discussion Nov. 12, 2007 with former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and the Rev. Munib Younan, bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, on the situation in the West Bank and prospects for peace in the Middle East. The dialogue followed the screening of "Jimmy Carter: Man From Plains," which documents President Carter's 2006 "Palestine Peace Not Apartheid" book tour.
