I congratulate Senators Obama and Biden on running a campaign that inspired millions of Americans in the midst of difficult times. Both presidential candidates and parties are to be commended for a hard fought race. It is my hope that they now will move forward together, in the spirit of bipartisanship, to address some of the great challenges facing our nation.
