Statement From The Carter Center on Earthquake in Haiti

President and Mrs. Carter and the staff of The Carter Center are saddened at the devastation and loss of life in Haiti. The Carter Center is not an emergency relief organization and has no method to directly work on the ground or accept donations for aid to Haiti.  We encourage everyone who is concerned to contribute to relief organizations working there and to join us in our prayers for the survivors of this great tragedy.
