Shortly after becoming Liberia project coordinator for the Carter Center's Liberia Access to Information Project, Alphonsus Zeon witnessed history as Liberia became the first West African country to enact a comprehensive freedom of information law, an effort Zeon had been involved in since 2004. Hear how this Liberian native is working with civil society organizations and government agencies to further an open society and encourage his fellow Liberians to exercise their new right to access information in this post-conflict nation.
