Israeli Fights for Human Rights of Palestinians (2009) The Carter Center partners with Israeli human rights defenders to support their work in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories as well as amplify their voices in the United States as they work to ensure that human rights play a central role in any peace process.
Palestine Discussion With Jimmy Carter and Munib Younan (2007) The Carter Center hosted a discussion November 12, 2007, with former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and the Reverend Munib Younan, bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Palestinian Territories, on the situation in the West Bank and prospects for peace in the Middle East. Preceding the dialogue was a private screening of "Jimmy Carter: Man From Plains." The film documents President Carter's 2006 tour for his book "Palestine Peace Not Apartheid."
