Sabrina Burnett, an experienced human resources professional, leads the Carter Center’s People Operations & Programs team to foster strategic collaborations among a diverse workforce fulfilling the Center’s mission. In partnership with Carter Center senior leadership, she directs the equitable implementation of human resources management, policies, programs, and systems, using a people-centric approach. She serves as the Carter Center’s liaison to the Emory University Human Resources Division, is a member of the Human Resources Leadership Committee and the Faculty Staff Advisory Committee, and co-chaired the Emory University DEI Institutional Strategic Planning Staff Community.
Burnett is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management Executive Network, Humentum Executive HR Community, Talent Acquisition Leadership Keynotes (TALK), and the Carter Center Compassionate Leadership Group. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Emory University, and a Strategic HR Leadership certification.
