Statement From Jimmy Carter on the Death of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

I offer my condolences and prayers to the Saud family on the death of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. He was a strong leader with great wisdom and vision for the Royal Kingdom, and I will miss his friendship.

I know I join with many others in wishing King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud a successful reign and continued prosperity for the people of Saudi Arabia.
