Hear from Trachoma Control Program director Kelly Callahan, associate director Kim Jensen, and associate director Angelia Sanders on the Carter Center’s current work to combat trachoma, a bacterial eye infection found in poor, isolated communities lacking basic hygiene and sanitation. Our discussion will focus on the relationship between gender and disease outcomes, and how the Carter Center’s community-based health work addresses these complexities.
