Working While Caring: Innovations and Interventions to Support Caregivers in the Workplace

As the United States trends towards an older population and more
people living with chronic health conditions and disabilities, the number
of people who need or will need caregiving assistance continues to grow.
Currently, an estimated one out of five adults in the nation’s labor supply
identifies as a caregiver. Most caregivers are employed, usually full-time.
There are many more who would prefer to work but their caregiving
responsibilities make it impossible.
