The Carter Center main campus is located on 37 beautiful acres of parkland about two miles from downtown Atlanta, tucked between the neighborhoods of Inman Park and Poncey-Highland (see white star below).

Since traffic can be overwhelming, and Atlanta’s public transportation is, frankly, inadequate, you’ll want to check any potential living spots for their location relative to The Carter Center. The closer to the Center you live, the easier your life will be.
