Mental Health Parity Day at the Capitol 2024

The Carter Center will host its inaugural Mental Health Parity Day by the Georgia State Capitol. This public event will engage a diverse group of stakeholders in Georgia to discuss how to advance implementation of the bipartisan Mental Health Parity Act passed in April 2022. Parity Day will include a free public event for mental health stakeholders, legislators, and leadership from several state agencies from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Central Presbyterian Church (lunch included). Pre-registration is required.

Carter Center Press Event at Georgia State Capitol

The Carter Center will host a press event from 2-2:30 p.m. to announce the results of its Georgia Mental Health Awareness Parity Campaign, launched in fall 2023 with support from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation.
