The Carter Center offices in Atlanta have reopened to staff with COVID-19 protocols in place. For the summer 2022 session, our Educational Programs will offer interns and graduate assistants the option to work remotely or in person at our Atlanta offices. Anyone working in person will be required to follow the same protocols as Carter Center staff and provide proof of vaccination. At this time, we are hopeful that our fall 2022 session will be held fully in person, but this decision will be made closer to the start date. If you have any questions, we encourage you to reach out to us at EducationalPrograms@cartercenter.org.
Carter Center internships are a paid opportunity. Fall and spring sessions are 15 weeks long with a stipend of $4,500; our summer session is 10 weeks long with a stipend of $3,000. Interns work 20 hours per week.
Internships are available through a number of programs and offices within three broad areas of The Carter Center.
