Carter Center Internships

  • Interns working at The Carter Center

Strong internship candidates are those who have demonstrated superior academic ability and possess academic, professional, or personal experience and interests related to Carter Center programs.

The Carter Center offices in Atlanta have reopened. At this time, our fall 2022 session will be held fully in person. If you have any questions, we encourage you to reach out to us at EducationalPrograms@cartercenter.org.

Carter Center internships are a paid opportunity. Fall and spring sessions are 15 weeks long with a stipend of $4,500; our summer session is 10 weeks long with a stipend of $3,000. Interns work 20 hours per week.

Internships are available through a number of programs and offices within three broad areas of The Carter Center.
