Carter Center internships are a paid opportunity. Fall and spring sessions are 15 weeks long with a stipend of $4,500; our summer session is 10 weeks long with a stipend of $3,000. Interns work 20 hours per week.

There are no citizenship requirements for interns. However, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. International students enrolled in U.S.-based colleges or universities are eligible with approval from your host institution.

If you are not a U.S. citizen and unsure if you are authorized to intern in the United States, please email to check eligibility.
