Rosalynn and I are saddened by the passing of our friend Bill Gates Sr. Bill worked tirelessly to create better opportunities for the poor and vulnerable around the world. His humanitarian work uplifted and built hope for generations in the United States, Africa, and beyond. His life and legacy affirm our shared humanity and responsibility to care for one another. We extend our deepest condolences to his family.
