ATLANTA — Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter had successful surgery Sunday, Feb. 18, to remove troubling scar tissue from a portion of her small intestine caused by removal of a cyst many years ago. She will remain a few days at Emory University Hospital for rest and recovery.
