Summary of the 38th Meeting of the International Task Force for Disease Eradication, Nov. 5-6, 2024 (ITFDE)

The 38th meeting of the International Task Force for Disease Eradication (ITFDE) was convened in a hybrid (virtual and in-person) format at The Carter Center in Atlanta, Ga., on Nov. 5-6, 2024. Topics discussed were “the status of Taenia solium taeniasis/cysticercosis [TSTC] control and elimination,” progress in combatting the diseases globally and emerging recommendations for elimination.
