From Interns to Employees

For some, the road to The Carter Center begins with our robust internship program. At least a dozen current staffers started as interns. We caught up with four of them while they were hard at work during Guyana’s 2025 election observation mission to talk about how the internships jumpstarted their careers and what working at the Center means to them.
