About Event

This event will bring together mental health advocates, family caregivers, individuals with lived experience, health care providers, employers, community organizations, and policymakers to explore solutions that improve access to quality mental health care and strengthen support systems for caregivers across Georgia.

Family caregivers play a critical role in supporting loved ones with mental health conditions and other health needs. At the same time, many continue to face significant challenges navigating systems of care, accessing resources, and balancing caregiving responsibilities. Mental Health and Caregiving Day at the Capitol provides an opportunity to elevate these experiences and advocate for policies that create a more accessible, person-centered, and responsive system of care.

Whether you are a caregiver, mental health advocate, health care professional, employer, community leader, or someone passionate about improving mental health and caregiving supports, your voice is essential to this conversation.

Join us as we work together to advance meaningful policy solutions, improve mental health outcomes, and support those who provide care every day.
