Harriet Sengendo serves as the senior administrator for the Carter Center’s Uganda office, supporting day-to-day operations that advance the organization’s peace and health initiatives in the region. The work, she says, is about justice and making a real difference in people’s lives — in Uganda and around the world. 

In this video, Sengendo shares the motivation and inspiration that’s kept her working at The Carter Center for almost 30 years. She also gives us a peek into her life outside the office, including her family and the Ugandan delicacy that she enjoys every day.
