Zebene Ayele serves as a monitoring and evaluation officer in the Center’s Trachoma Control Program in Ethiopia — tracking progress and ensuring our efforts are focused, effective, and responsive. Since joining in 2015, he’s been honored to be part of the Center’s mission to alleviate suffering.

In this video, Ayele discusses the camaraderie and community spirit that make the Carter Center’s work so effective in Ethiopia, as well as a bit about his family and the dish he loves to have for lunch.
