“The Beautiful Game Brings Peace” is The Carter Center’s breakout sports diplomacy event spotlighting how soccer can promote social change in the U.S. and abroad. Anchored in President Jimmy Carter’s and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter’s commitment to peace, health, and human dignity, the panel discussion will highlight the use of sports in fostering cross-cultural understanding, fostering dialogue, and strengthening relationships.

  • Sarah Kate “Skate” Noftsinger, Senior VP and Chief Business Officer for Atlanta United
  • Sanjay Patel, Director of Strategic Partnerships for Soccer in the Streets
  • Ben Spears, Associate Director, Conflict Resolution Program at The Carter Center

This event will also be live-streamed. While admission is free, registration for the event is required for both in-person and live-stream attendance.
