Meet Our Staff: Alex Arinaitwe

In our new Meet Our Staff series, we highlight the people behind the Carter Center’s global mission to wage peace, fight disease, and build hope.   

Alex Arinaitwe serves as a program coordinator in the Center’s River Blindness Program in Uganda — supporting field teams and making sure activities run smoothly. Since joining in 2015, Arinaitwe has valued working as part of a large team on an issue that changes lives. 

In this video, Arinaitwe introduces us to his family, his favorite food, and his hopes for eliminating river blindness in Uganda and across the world.
